new opportunities for a truck guy!!!

Well ive been floating around here since 2000 (been that long??) and two masters degrees, two teaching jobs and three states.... so the board has definetly been a constant, but wanted to let you guys know again that im on the move AGAIN!!! I was budget reduced at the hs where i teach industrial tech this spring again... marks the second time in three years since i moved back home to MN... so I was coerced(?) by a few colleages to pursue a Ph.D in business and Industry ed at the University of MN starting this fall... so i have to put most of my truck projects on hold AGAIN too, and move down to the cities next month... should take about 2 years to do, but they are paying the tuition with a grant from the NSF (natl science foundation), so hard to turn down... HOPEFULLY this will lead to some more stable employment... I still have access to a metal, wood, and fluid power lab (get to help plan and equip the fluid power one... FUN ) so im picking a few projects that are somewhat portable (283/327 rebuild, couple of my roch quads, etc) that i do to keep my sanity Friday afternoons in between all my stats classes i get to take this time around ... but anyway ill continue to be around but just filling everyone in on stuff goin on... mods this may not be the rightplace to post so move if necessary.. and to anyone int he cities, i will be more than happy to help out an any ones projects as time permits!!! ill stop rambling now
--Mike

Congrats. I would drop everything for a chance to get a doctorate for free. With a degree in sociology, though, it ain't gonna happen.
