Rack And Pinion Steering.

Has anybody out there ever installed a rack and pinion steering to there trucks. I am working a 72 2wd short bed. and was curious of this mod.

Not a modification I've tried, or even seen, but I wanted to say welcome to the board. Nose a round a little, there are other pages that will give you a better chance at getting the answer you're looking for. Another volunteer has already mentioned you to the moderators, so somebody will be along shortly to move your thread to a more visible location.

Also, try using the serch function. might get lucky that way.

But yes to the Rack search around and you'll find it installed on an actual C10.
I did one over in the 55-59 section

its a 58 with a C10 IFS and a TBird rack

Porterbuilt's Dropmember converts you to a mustang II Rack. He has a thread on here, check it out..

His is much cleaner than what I did. Mine is functional correct but its still an ugly hack.
