1997 GMC K1500 Z71 fuel pressure

hell0 i have a 1997 gmc z71 5.7 4l60e trans manual shift on the fly transfercase. ok its rolled to 98,000 miles an the wonderful trouble of fuel pumps yay. now im pretty sure im right but i like to make sure. i replaced the fuel pump and it was falling on its nose horribly. then finaly stopped running now i know im getting gas an the fuel pump does come on. but im watin for my buddy to bring his fuel pressure checker. to check the fuel pressure. its jsut turning over an not starting the analizer said im getting not even enough pressure for the injectors to pulseate. its like 65 + pounds for it all to work properly. im sure this is it so that menas the new fuel isnt producin enough pressure for the vehicle to start i know its not the cam sensor i tested all of that stuff . so looks like ive got a new bad fuel pump the filter is on correctly i changed that also. or could this be something causin the injectors to not pulseate. but the analizer said insufucent fuel pressure
