Kickdown cable bracket for inline 6...

Hi there, I'm Dan.

My 67 has a 230 (I think) inline 6 with a TH350. I was just curious as to where I can find a kickdown cable bracket.

I have the 1bbl Rochester and the old accelerator linkage. Instead of hooking up to a "seesaw" looking thing on the manifold, the linkage hooks directly to the carburetor. I'm supposing this is because it used to be a standard 3 speed.

I was hoping you could shed some light on what types of cars I could find my correct kickdown bracket. It should attach itself to either manifolds. (This engine's intake and exhaust manifolds are not integrated with each other or the head.)

Please help, I'm too lazy too drop it down into "2" manually.

Thanks for your time.
-Dan

I'd also like to know.

Maybe this was never a factory combination??? - TH350 Auto with a 6cly - were they all sticks? - I can't remember seeing a 6 with an auto in it before

Dan, I have a small collection of linkages like you described. I collected them from various vehicles with the intention of putting one to use on my 6 someday, but now that I've got a Lokar cable I'll never use them. I'll try to get a pic in the next day or so and maybe you'll see what you're looking for.

67-70 used the mechanical linkage and 71-2 used the cable to carb.
