Spinners...Where Are They?

Anyone know where a guy could find a set of spinners and center caps? I would really to get the type of center cap that has a bolt pattern on it and goes behind the wheel. Know what I am talking about? I had a set of those on my S-10 Blazer when I was in high school 10 years ago. I think they would look great with spinners painted the same color as my truck. So the search is on.

I looked but I couldn't find any. I wonder if they even have those for the bolt pattern I need.

Re: Spinners...Where Are They?

If your talking the "old school" style spinner center caps, I believe moon still has them. If your talking the Bling style, I haven't got a clue.

Re: Spinners...Where Are They?

Tire dealers can order them and I have also seen them in pep boys. They fit the gm rally center caps.

Re: Spinners...Where Are They?

I am talking about the old style. I don't care for those newer ones where the whole center of the wheel spins. I have some like bowtieman that I am gonna paint the same color as my truck and put a decal in the center but I need the center caps. Sorry for the confusion. Anyonw know where I can find the OLD STYLE spinner center caps.

Re: Spinners...Where Are They?

BowtieMan showed spinners, that`s what they are. They came on cars in the 60s.They are similated spindle-mount knock-offs as found on true spoke sports wheels in place of lug nutsThey became available to add to wheels, hubcaps, and center caps as an accessory. They were outlawed on new cars in`68 along with the introduction of padded dashes/horn caps, side markers, and head rests. They had 2 or 3 prongs. There are these other ridiculous gimmick oversizes wheels that came out lately with a seperate center section that does it`s own thing. These are also called spinners since those who like them know so little about vehicles that they didn`t realize there is already an accessory by that name. That, and they are too dumb to create their own name.

Re: Spinners...Where Are They?

Those are some good samples of spinners at Summit. The weld ones are nice but a bit pricey. I have a set I bought 6 yrs ago to go on my American Outlaws. If memory is right they were about $55 for the set. The chrome hub mounts on the lugs behind the wheel and the spinner mounts on a stud to the hub. Set screw locks em down. Very much like the one pictured above.

Re: Spinners...Where Are They?

I've got a set for sale. I believe they are made by Weld. The consist of 3 pieces each. I'll take $250 + shipping. They are new, but need a good cleaning.
