Paint code ?

Can anyone tell me or show me a picture of the GMC color Code 4541AB it was listed as White/Dark GOLD. It came from my 1970 GMC Suburban. All other codes and list of options seem to match the truck.

This is the origional color listed in my Suburban. ID like to see what this looks like.

Thanks,
Thomas

Dont even see Dark Gold listed as a color on the 70 chart. The interior color seems to be a greenish gold?

Re: Paint code ?

Go by the number. There was a Medium Gold, too. They are probably variations of the same color.

Re: Paint code ?

I have a 1970 GMC color &Trim book that the dealers used.
It shows all exterior and interior trim color combinations for 1970
It lists Dark Gold Metallic as code #527
The same Dark Gold body truck, but with a White top code #541
A Dark Gold body, White top and White lower body code #585
Also it shows that you can do special two tone colors WITHOUT "white",
like Dark Gold body and Medium Gold top code #561
The Dark Gold in my book is the same color and has the same code as the page that Solver listed but in my book each color sample is larger, one whole page for every color. And some colors like this Gold are metallic.

I have trouble posting pics or I would show the book and it listings.
