Summit Big Block headers

Has anyone used the summit brand big block headers for our trucks? How low do they hang past the frame? Im going to get a set tomorrow to convert to use on my LS1 and dont want them to drag the ground.

Re: Summit Big Block headers

ok i'll answer my own question. These headers are NOT made for lowered Blazers. They hang about 8 inches below the frame (not good when you only have 9). They are also going to require A LOT of fabrication for an LS1. In other words if you have a lifted big block truck they would probably be a good value, but not so good for a lowered small block truck.

Re: Summit Big Block headers

I have these headers on my big block, it's lowered, I'm happy

I did have to have them modified on the left side I believe it was, for fitting issues. 402BB/AC/Auto truck
