Kansas City Junk Yards

Hey I am new to Kansas City and thought I 'd ask you guys if you knew of any good junkyards. There are a bunch listed on the internet, but I don't know how good they are. I live in southern Kansas city in the SW armpit of 435 and 71 so some in the North may not be feasable.
Thanks

You might come to the Bonner Springs Car (Show and Shine) this coming weekend 7/29/06 (at the AG Hall) and talk to the guys that are running it. They are the K.C, area Genuine Chevy GMC Truck Club. They can turn you on to a lot of salvage avenues. Especially look for Dave Moore, he is the parts Guru for many venues and even works for "Jim Carter's" as a phone tech rep.

Just what would you be looking for? I live in the middle of Kansas and we have a few slavage yards around here that have that line of trucks in them. There is also a major a truck salvage yard along I-35 between Olathe and Ottawa. You can't miss it, it is right along the interstate and is really big.

Not looking for anything in particular really, somedays if I don't have anything to do I will hit the junkyards to see what they have. I was just wondering what some of the better yards were.
