turbo 350 in a 86?

did gm put a turbo 350 in the 86 model half tons ? i just bought one wrecked and p.o. says its a factory turbo 350 ....im not up on the later model stuff to well ......yet ..thanks

Yes. TH350 with lockup converter in mine.

Most of the T-350s in that model was a 350C model, I believe. The 350C hada lockup converter and a slightly smaller input shaft (the weak point for this tranny). I had one in my 84 truck and my son's truck (86 Silverado)came with one also.
