had a 67 follow me home...
I was at a local weekly farmer's market that has a section for a car show and met a guy that had a 67 lwb 3/4 that he wanted to sell for $200. So, I went and looked at it. It is almost all original other then the radio (speakers in door). It has the 327 with 3speed on the column, and it has alot of the correct 67 dulux items (chrome, headlight, choke knobs) and a bunch of other things that I need for another 67 swb fleet that I am picking up.
How do you like the orig split rims? This is a running driving truck for $200, could not pass it up..... Last edited by John Fabris; 07-27-2006 at 12:21 PM. |

Re: had a 67 follow me home...
I did not do that, I was in back pushing. My 16month old boy was up front pulling.... He felt that it needed to be bent like the bumper on my 67 suburban.... Darn kid....

Re: had a 67 follow me home...
Wish i could find a deal like that.
And if your 16 month old is that strong now. You could have your own frame straightner at the house in a couple of years. HAHA!! |

Maybe THAT's why the bumper is bent!!!!!! John: "Hurry up and get this sucker on the trailer before that guy gets off the port-o-john." 16 month old acomplis: "I can't find any holes in the frame!" John: "Just hook it to the bumper!" *Sorry, I'm just in a real good mood today Seriously though, I'm slightly jealous!

Re: had a 67 follow me home...
Right place at the right time!!!!
You should have your 16 month old hold the truck still while you push that bumper back in!!!!! Or just have him swing a tree at it.... excellent find!!

Re: had a 67 follow me home...
OK so if it's a running driving truck why is it on a trailer? J/K

Re: had a 67 follow me home...
My 16 month old boy could not see over the dash to drive it home....
I went and looked at it while I was driving my 67, and then came home, grabbed the Yukon and car trailer as it has expired registration, and did not have anyone else that was around to drive it home. Keeping it on the trailer for now as it is my neighbors yard and I am only allowed three parking spots in his yard. My two other spots are taken up by friends trucks (of which one is RicksTruck!!!) Re: had a 67 follow me home...
Yea, the 67 belts are hard to come by. I spend $300 when I had my belts for my blue/white 67 restored.
This truck has green belts, I don't know if my other 67 short fleet has belts, but if it does, I will keep you in mind.... |
