Dumb question
Could you get a GMC V6 in a GMC Suburban? I got thinking about it and I've never seen a 67-69 GMC Burb with a V6 in it. Just curious.

Re: Dumb question
Now Jake don't be asking no dumb questions! But that one is not dumb. All is the same on the Burbs as on the trucks. I do not know if any of the Burbs have a V-six in them. I can not see why not myself. But mine has the 350 in it. Anyone have a V-six in theirs?

Re: Dumb question
Back in 1966 I started to order a 67 GMC with a V6 but couldn't get it delivered in time before being shipped out to Spain. Ended up getting a 66 Chev sub

Re: Dumb question
Jake,
The V-6 was never available from the factory in Suburbans. Since it's an easy swap though I see no reason why an enterprising dealer couldn't have put one in if a customer wanted it. I'll be swapping a 351 complete with power steering and air conditioning into my 72 when the 4X4 frame goes under it. All I need is time............ Bob

Re: Dumb question
OK, thanks for setting me straight about the Burb's. I know what you mean about not having time, my summer vacation has just flown by. I have to go back to school on Tuesday and I really don't want to. But oh well, life goes on, whether you can keep up or not.
