Wide & super wide GM oem wheels--seen these?

I found these at a friend's place on a couple of his old trucks. Both sets are 16.5 3/4T 8-lug. These things are big.
The second set has 9.50 x 16.5 tires and the rims are wider than the tires...maybe 10"? They are on an 80's diesel 3/4T.
The first set/pair are really really wide. The tires are 33x12.5x16.5 and the wheels must be 12" wide?
I couldn't get any closer to check the markings, but they appear to be stock. Have you seen these big wheels before?

Re: Wide & super wide GM oem wheels--seen these?

Sure, they are 6.25x16.5 and 9.75x16.5 Kelsey-Hayse wheels supplied to the factory or available through wheel suppliers and specialty upfitters like truck body and camper shops.I love`em but they`re heavy to ship around. They look great with hubcaps. There were 8x15 5 or 6-lug,also 8.25x16.5 and 9.75x16.5 6-luggers to fit higher load range wide 16.5s on 4wds.
On my GMC,9.75s:

On my`84 I owned,9.75s:

On a cool CamperCruiser,8.25s:

On a nice K/10:

I bought mine from a commercial truck wheel & Rim company. The 8.25s weren`t available and the 9.75s were listed as trailer-use only.I ignored that and put them on my trucks with no problems.A trailer's needs exceed a truck's,like tires. They get that lateral action(twisting)when turning.

Re: Wide & super wide GM oem wheels--seen these?

Here are some on more of my trucks(I said I like`em),9.75s:

Here in a brochure:

I have another brocheur somewhere with an ochre $ white K/20 Cheyenne sportin`these on a power-line in the rugged mountains.
Take a look at trailers and equipment w/8-lugs,there are some pretty cool, tough looking wheels that would look wicked on a truck.

I love the way they look in this pic. Maybe I'll try to hunt up a set for the GMC one day.

Re: Wide & super wide GM oem wheels--seen these?

Hey I get to show 'em off on my truck again! Fronts are 16x6", rears are 16.5x9.75". They have F&H stamped on 'em, guess that means Firestone-Hayes. I bought one at the J-yard for $15 with a used tire, couldn't find another for months. Dad found another at a local Co-op, and then I got new 33x12.50 BFG A/T's put on 'em. I just bought two more off ebay for $95 shipped(third pic), should have 'em by Friday I hope. I plan on finding two more and putting those my Suburban later on.

We had our Fireman`s Carnival parade on Thursday.Mt.Airy is located at the four couners of four counties and all the fire houses from all around put equipment in the parade, alot of pride.I saw a pre-88 brush truck roll by with these wheels in white w/hubcaps.Looked real good.
