My visit from Crews (look ShowmeK20!!)....
Hope this message doesn't get too long, please bear with me as I do a little pictoral story telling....
Late this afternoon, a big Crew cab dually pulls into my yard pulling a trailer. I knew he was coming because I had wrote the date on my calendar (in pencil). It is the famous (or infamous?) CREWS, at my house to pick up a truck for SHOWMEK20. To make this part of the story short, we loaded Mr. Ogre (the 71K20) on to Crews trailer and visited while we got the beast chained down and all. The visiting was even more pleasant because Crews had brought his lovely assistant and cheif navigator, Mrs. Crews! After taking a quick tour of the "treasures" in my shed, and some more visiting, it was time for the Crews to go. It was hard to quit chatting, but they had a 7.5 hour drive, so I figured I should let them go. I did talk them into letting me take some pics as they left, they will follow this message. I really enjoyed getting to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Crews! Safe travels to you! Chris H Mr. Ogre on the trailer: What has 14 wheels and is 46 feet long? Your friendly driver, Mr. Crews! Hiding in the shadows, Mrs. Crews! Goodbye old friend, and new friends! [This message has been edited by Chris H (edited April 20, 2002).]

I love putting a face to the name...is thet Mr Crews, or is that Chris?
The K/20 looks like it has potential too. (anyone notice Crews has chevy hub caps on the trailer???) ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. COOL! Sittin' on pins and needles, here. Good pics, Chris. Truck looks a whole lot better sitting on Joe's trailer instead of all cooped up in the barn.

You gotta love that ochre/white/ochre color scheme.
------------------ Nick Rodenberg Wellington, MO http://nickrod.port5.com You can click on "My 72 Chevy Truck" I have a 72 Cheyenne 10 with a V8 350 and a TH-350 auto-tranny. Ochre/White/Ochre Runs well... working on body. Plan to get painted weekend before memorial day weekend. Planned to be done March 7 when I turned 16. Didn't happen. Chose to do better job and be behind schedule instead of 1/2 doing it and it looking like junk.
