Original post by Farside847 in July 2005. Excellent post lots of pictures and step by step instructions! Thanks very much farside847, I followed you directions to the "Tee" and this conversion worked for me. Just a bit more info I can add for the I6 guys and drum/drum applications.

1) I ordered an entire PB, M/C and prop valve from a 72 C10. Thanks BillsBowTie
Drum/Drum
2) For the drum/drum. I have I kept the drum/drum prop valve that was on my truck and removed the disc/drum prop valve that came with the new PB. (I'll keep the disk/drum prop valve for when I upgrade to disks up front.)
I6 Engine Differences
3) There is only one vacuum location I could find on the intake. I had to get creative at the Home Depot and figure out a way to "T" this vacuum source with the transmission and the new PB. I just used brass plumbing fittings.
4) When the PB is installed your stock air cleaner will no longer fit. I got a smaller Mr. Gasket Air Filter from Canadian Tire.
5) You'll also need to go and get a new oil breather cap for the valve cover unless you prefer my ghetto look!!
6) One other thing, don't forget to adjust the brake light activation switch as the pedal will sit lower than it did before. My brake lights were on all the time until I adjusted it correctly.
7) Also since you'll be disconnecting the brake line from the M/C of course you'll need to bleed the entire system.

Just just back from my test drive. Works great. Now I'll need to go to the gym to get my leg workout

Here's a photo of the installed PB:
