paint questions 72 codes
I need the paint code for a 72 chev if anyone knows, the colors are huggar orange and white. I also need to know what color to paint the dash in front of the dash pad, by the defrost vents. The truck has black interior. I think it was originally black but not sure if it was orange at one time truck was in primer when I bought it. Also pretty sure a 72 350 block was orange, dropping engine off tomorrow and want to make sure. Thanks for the help

Matte black would have been the correct top of dash color. the hugger orange was paint code 553 in 2 tone with the paint # for the various brands below being
Lucite= 5188-LM Rinished-Mason= A-2256-R Ditzler= 2212 The white was paint code 521 Lucite= 817-L Rinished-Mason= unknown Ditzler= 2185 The motors block color in 67-72 was Chevy orange. GMCPaul |
