Extreme Drop Cross Member....

Early Classic sells these and it looks like a great idea to get your exhaust inside the frame rails and through the cross member. The catch is that you have to have at least 5" of drop in the back. I did the 2"/4" drop which is close. Has anyone here installed one of these?

I like it, Im planning to cut holes in my stock unit if I run the exhaust back that far

I thought about that also. But, I don't want to compromise the integrity of that cross member. Have you ever seen the copperhead truck on truck t.v.?
They installed one of these and ran the exhaust through it. They actually installed a collector in the middle of the hole to joint the exhaust.
