Need Help Removing Instrument Bezel

OK, so I am replacing my bezel with a refurbished one and have ran into a snag and cannot get the light and windshield wiper knob off. How do you take off these knobs so that you can get the bezel off? Thanks in advance.

Re: Need Help Removing Instrument Bezel

the windshield wiper knob has a set screw, you need a small flat blade screw driver. look on the knob close to the dash and you should see it. once the knob is off you unscrew the chrome part, usually can be done by hand, i had one the other day too tight and had to put something in the holes inside and tap a little to get loose. the headlight is a little more difficult. you have to pull it out like the lights are on and then reach up inside the dash to the switch itself and it has a little button on top of the switch that you have to push and pull the switch at the same time and it will come out. once it is out the chrome part unscrews as the windshield wiper does. hope this helps and my instructions are ok.

disconnect battery ground

pull headlight knob to on

reach up behind dash and there's a button with a spring you push in hard on and the knob pulls out with the rod

wiper knob has a set screw
