67/68 cowl hood and paint for sale - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

For sale:
67/68 cowl hood. Hood was primered by previous owner. Hood has several small dents in the front, other than that appears to be in solid shape. I want to use a stock hood so price is $225.00 cash or $175.00 plus stock hood with letters. Must pick up.

Paint - 1 gallon PPG DCC acrylic urethane BLACK plus hardener and reducer.
$150.00. I don't know about shipping paint, prefer pick up.

I don't know if this is a Goodmark cowl. The hood was on the truck when I bought it.

I will have to line up a method of transportation since I currently only have a car and Jeep. Not sure if hood will fit inside Jeep, if not probably could borrow friend's S10. Are you buying or buying/trading?

buying! it is a stamped hood and not an added on cowl correct? where and when do you want to meet? how about bowling green next weekend? do you need anything else you might wanna trade or just cash it doesnt matter to me i just have alot of other parts also

It is a stamped hood. I want a hood with letters '68 but buying is fine. Next weekend would work best for me. I will need to work out transportation as said. Do you have a stock hood?

whats your best deal on the paint ? shipped to 85053 (phoenix) ya just have to box it up well and it can be shipped (just tape them up so the lid stays on)

Meathead, just checked the driving distance both ways and Horse Cave is actually about half way from Louisville and Nashville. That would be best for both. What do you think?

i actually live in unionville which is about 50 miles south of nashville but ill look and see where horse cave is on the map. as for the hood i can get one but not for a $50 trade it would be more like 100-125 for a good hood with letters

QKENUF4U, I am not having any luck with finding some one to ship the paint. Paint is considered hazardous material and requires special shipping - one price was $240.00 to your door (just for shipping). I am not comfortable just taping up the lids and hoping for the best. If you get caught it is very expensive. Go to ups website or call 1-800-742-5877.
