removing 69-72 molding

whats the easiest way i can remove the upper molding on the bedside of my 69. i really dont wanna screw the trim up. the rest was easy to get off because i could get behind it but on the bedside i cant

This is what works for me. I spray the underside the trim at the clip locations with Aero Kroil or similiar penetrant so as to wet the clips down. Then using a
trim clip removal tool I "trip" the wire spring that holds the clips in position. Once the wire is tripped I use the same tool to rotate the clip which releases the trim. (A tool can be made out of a piece of sheet metal that will suffice).

Once the trim is off the clips can be removed with a door panel tool most of the time. (Sometimes the clips have to be broken in order to remove them).
