Custom full dash pad with 3 gauge holes

I ran across this while looking at a dash restorer for one of my other projects. First impression was that it's not quite my style, but it could grow on me.

Re: Custom full dash pad with 3 gauge holes

Did you get a load of the price?
They teased us with it for about 2 years before actually making it, then when they did make it, no one can afford it.

Re: Custom full dash pad with 3 gauge holes

yep............this product proved that smoking crack is harmfull. The people in charge of this neat item definatly need to stop sucking the glass pipe!!!!!

It should be about a $150 to $200 item. They are trying to re-coup their tooling fees with the first 10 sales. It might take a lifetime to sell 10 of them at that price!!!

Re: Custom full dash pad with 3 gauge holes

I want 1 for my air ride gauges but is way too pricey for me. I also love the way it goes to the windshield.

I'm not crazy about the way it hangs over like a shelf and has squared corners.

Just stupid. What gauges would you even put in there?I`d rather put custom gauges in the 7 holes that are provided from the factory.

Re: Custom full dash pad with 3 gauge holes

Longhorn, didn't see a price - guess I don't want to? I need A/C way before I overspend on a dash pad. Just thought it might be a good way to cover up what the sun has done in front of my existing dash.

They are almost as much as your entire air system ... bags and all.

Re: Custom full dash pad with 3 gauge holes

I see the company is in Van Nuys. I just happen to be in Van Nuys until Tuesday. I should check these out if I get time....which I doubt I'll make it. I like the look of them, but I would like it better without the gauges. Having the pad going all the way to the windshield makes the dash look "finished" IMO.

Interesting...that's exactly what I don't like about it. It looks really 80's to me.

I want to say it was 3 or 4 hundred
going to the dash like that will cause some seriousely nasty reflections in the glass. Your dash is supposed to be painted with flat paint up there on top of the dash.
I agree that it looks stupid, but I've been flamed for saying that, so I'll leave my comments out... I won't say anything about the 7 holes from the factory.

Anyone that needs more than seven holes...
Looks like more foam`n`vinyl to crack`n`peel.

Oh I will...I've got the turbo (Turbonetics T-72) but not the cash flow right now to build a motor that will hold up to it. So I am finishing up a moderate 327 that will last me until I get the small fortune worth of parts for the turbo motor...

Re: Custom full dash pad with 3 gauge holes

A board member had a truck for sale with this in it a while back. Maybe Texascowboy?? It was a red exterior/white/blue interior truck. Not sure what gauges he had in it.
