Brakes Types JB7 or JB6 ????
I am doing front brakes on my 81 3/4 ton 4x4 and the catalog is asking which type of brakes I have. Either JB6 JD6 or JB7 JD7. I think this has something to do with the gross vehicle weight??? How do I know which one I have. There are no tags on truck, or vin # to check....
I do know the rear drums are the 13" X 2.5, and it has a 9.5" ring gear...(non floater) I would like to order the front brakes on line... Thanks, Mark

You either have 1" (light duty) rotors or 1.25" (heavy duty) rotors. Not sure which ones you have, but being a 3/4 ton, I would bet you have heavy duty brakes.
