K30 front sway bar help
Does anyone have any tips on installing the two new bushings on the front sway bar on my 87 K30? I got new ones from Moog but having no luck on getting them in. Thanks

Re: K30 front sway bar help
Are you changing the ones where it mounts to the frame or where it bolts to the spring? I changed the ones on the frame. I just unbolted the brackets, removed the old ones, spread some anti-sieze where they were going and popped the new ones on. They were split so you didn't have to slide them on from the end.

Mine went on my half ton just fine. If you are having problems, could it be that you have the ones for a smaller bar?

Re: K30 front sway bar help
I'm trying to change the ones that bolt to the spring mount. The inner ones you talk about are the easy ones. They are a large rubber piece with a center inner steel piece. There must be some way to compress this rubber to get it in.
