no code ?
Hey all
Maybe someone can help, I have a 87 silverado 350/700r4 4x4 comeing home from work today and stop at a stop light and my service engine lite comes on take off and in a few moments it goes out next lite same thing 3 times then no more rest of the way home maybe 7 more stops. Now when the lite comes on the truck is running well. First thought knock sensor but no codes come up? thanks in advance Mike |

update
do have a code 45, o2 sensor not long ago and I would think lite would stay on if o2 was bad? next is evaporative canister, the small line to the tbi is cracked at tbi could this be it? took line off no diff. in the engine sound at idle. Do the canisters go bad? how do you check and where would I find one. Thank all Mike |

I get the 45 code every once and awhile, if I get on the throttle to hard.
