whats it worth ...not for sale
i have just purchased a 86 truck for a parts truck...a buddy of mine needs a tilt column for a 86 ..i dont wanna rip him off or get ripped off ...so whats it worth .i have the keys ...and everything is in working condition but the cruise control ....thanks !

I'd say split the difference. He will feel he got a deal, and you get a fair price.

I have heard 30 or 40 $$$ but not a hundred. I like the idea of splitting the difference or something that makes u both happy.

Depends on where you live, a good tilt column in my area is $125.00 and that is after waiting for a week or so.

im in alabama ...and dont deal with 73 and up trucks much mostly 67-72s....i told him 20 ..he laughed and handed me a 100 dollar bill...and said thanks ...i asked if he was still gonna make money off it ..he said oh yeah ...:-)....maybe i need to start buying more parts trucks ..lol

Shoulda looked on e-bay for ending prices.
Around here, 100 -125 is what you'll pay getting it out of a junk yard. |
