71 C10 Longbed I got from the board

I got this truck back in November to use as my work truck so I had something to pick stuff up at Lowes and that kind of light hauling. I got tired of having to borrow my dads truck or ask friend everytime I went to Lowes. My thoughts were that if I got an older truck it would hold its value a lot better than say a mid 90's fullsize with 100million miles on it. I have a 90 S10 lowrider also so after I got this truck I got the itch to lower it some (4/6) and put some decent looking (Impala) wheels on it. I added a radio and redid the exhaust. I think it is a pretty good looking "work truck". Its got its issues (there is a long list) but that is what gives it character and what makes it fun to drive. I don't have to worry about scratching my paint or getting dirt in the cab, I can just get in it a cruise. I think it is pretty badass and if I can hold onto it for a few years, I'd like to continue to fix it up. anyways, that is my story. The pics are at www.diverserides.com on the members rides page.
