Tail pipe?
I have 2 1/2" ex pipe, with H pipe,& 40s flows with turn downs. I have located the mandral bent pcs I need to turn out the sides. I can get 2 1/2,or 3".....What do you guys think about running 3" tailpipes? Would that be a nice echo tube(3' long section)?

I doubt a 3 inch would do much for an echo tube..but it would give a deep rumble.
You think you'll be able to come out the side and not have trouble with the leaf springs? They were in the way when i tried it on Longhorn#1 ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. I have 2.5" pipe going to the 40 series Flows and then 3" pipes over the axles and straight out the back. It sounds pretty good although it is loud under WOT!

Longhornmail,my muffs arent all the way back to the axle. I would have to sneak under the spring,& around the traction bar,but i think there is enough room. Beast388,is your truck quiet enough in town,& cruise? (enough not to draw attention of the long arm of the law)

Well....it has a pretty good low rumble around town and is really only obnoxious when I hammer the gas and the 388 sings her song When I see the local coppers I lift off the gas out of habit....she is almost quiet when I do that.

Haha.....I have a habit of letting off when I see a cop also.....Even when Im just cruisin ! I think shes gonna be loud under full throttle no matter what. Just the way strokers,& 40s muffs go. I lit it up out in front of the house,& one of the neighbors came over to see if it even had muffs! He liked it though,I think he is plannin a set for his Camaro. I wonder if we can get paid by Flowmaster for advertisement........69
