Truck/Car Tow Dolly

Have this real nice well used Tow Dolly for sale. It features the Auto steer capability, tilt bed, has new straps and a brand new Spare white spoke wheel and tire. I have towed 2W and 4x4 trucks and Blazers with stock wheel/tires with no problems. It is 79" between the axle and 81" between the fenders so it will tow all but the widest setups. Will need some new tires before you tow something cross country!! Not currently set up for brakes but I do have a surge brake setup available for additional $$. $450.

Re: Truck/Car Tow Dolly

Hey, that looks just like mine. Hadn't seen another one til now. Mine has the spare mounted on the tongue. Bought me a winch to make it easier to pull vehicles up instead of having to drive them up, but haven't mounted it yet.

Great dolley, but don't try to back up with it. Has a mind of its own. I have pulled several 2wd trucks using one like it and my 2004 Dodge Caravan - smooth.

That's a great deal!!! I bought one before for almost the same price as yours and I wish It would've been just as wide as this one, the front clip on my blazer wouldn't have any tire marks from turning and backing up!

Re: Truck/Car Tow Dolly

Backing up with a tow dolly is like - well - freakin crazy, especially if you have the self steering working. You have no idea of where you will end up!! Found that out the hard way!!
Anyho, this rig trails great---.
If you try to rent one from U-Haul, they usually aren't wide enough or strong enough for trucks. I bought new 15" wheel straps (around $50) and bought a new spare (around $75). The real nice thing about a tow dolly is it trails easy--you don't impact gas mileage. I have a hand winch that I can throw in--. Prefer keeping my spare out of the weather so I put that in my truck when I use the dolly.
Sorry guys but I don't plan on heading to New Jersey any time soon, and my parts needs are few and far between as I part out enough trucks/blazers a year to keep me well supplied.
If I don't get a hit on the board, it will go into our local paper trader and on e-bay next week.
