Re: Wood Floors

I went to a car show last year and a guy had a square body with a wood floor. I asked him where he got it and he said he had to make it himself. He bought the filler strips, got some oak planking, cut it down and fit it to the bed using bedliner in between. It looks super. As soon as I resize the pics I will post them. I am thinking of doing it to my shortbox. It realy changes the looks.

Re: Wood Floors

We had a customer call and he is putting a wood floor in his Ranger to cover up his Hydraulics. He said it would only be about a 10" deep bed He just wanted to buy the strips and he is going to hinge the wood so he can show off the suspension.

Re: Wood Floors

There is a guy that makes the kit they used over the bed floor on the "black jack" silverado on trucks. I am having a hard time rembering the name.

Re: Wood Floors

Couldn't edit my last post. Bruce Horkey has what they call the Show Deck. Goes over the existing floor. Rather pricey though I think at $1000.

They also have the full wood floor. Cut out the steel and install the wood. Either Oak or Ash.
