Re: Medium Olive

Why do some of the trucks appear darker?

Re: Medium Olive

Could be the difference in the camera exposure.

It looks like it is between light olive and olive... my Blazer is Olive and still wears the original paint.

The colors apear different for several reasons. Exposure. Lighting conditions: direct and indirect. Some of these trucks have been repainted too.

The picture on the left and center were taken of the same truck with same camera. One was taken in direct light in the early spring of 2004 and the other was taken a couple weeks ago in indirect light.

Re: Medium Olive

You should see jc`s `71 in person.Pictures do it no justice in comparison.Medium Olive is a funny shade. It can look rich in some lighting and washed-out in other. With a little fading it starts losing it`s greeness.I see alot of variations in the paint mixes, too.
