My boys (ages 6 and 9) help me spot '67-'72s when we're driving around. My oldest can even tell the years(67-8, 69-70, 71-2) by the grilles. My wife thinks we have "Old Truck Radar"!!! Gotta love those future gearheads.

pulls at the ole heart strings eh? My middle son is the same way... He helped build the engine I'll be installing next week.

Funny, when he was 2 or 3 he wanted to know what each part of the engine was.. So for 2 days I taught him each word and the meaning behind it. For the next week he was walking around telling everyone he knew
" Intak - a - maniflood".

Ahh the good times

I have a female gearhead...

she's 27 months old and says thats "Daddoo's Truck" when she sees one, she watches car racing with or without her grandpa... and she evens "fixes" things as she puts it, she can work a wrench. It's definately in her blood. I hope she stays into those things.
