WTB or WTT For a Running SBC Engine
Hey guys, I need something dirt cheap, I don't care if it smokes a lil, just
as long as all of the rods are still in it My tired old 307 in the 2wd has a blown head gasket (Best case scenario) or maybe even a cracked head and I just need something so I can play in my 2wd, cheaper the better & the closer the better, might have some items for partial trades, Thanks

Re: WTB or WTT For a Running SBC Engine
In all honesty I don't have a clue how to ship it or what it would cost.

Re: WTB or WTT For a Running SBC Engine
Mud, I will keep you in mind, I can get it from Heath, OH to here for FREE.
My company has a sister plant there and we get 30 deliveries a week, but at the moment that is more than I have put back, is it carb to pan? or lb?

Re: WTB or WTT For a Running SBC Engine
What about the transmission? IIRC you posted that it would go good as long as you wanted to back up.

Re: WTB or WTT For a Running SBC Engine
I can store an engine here untill some one else can come get it/transport it. I have the space in my storage. I can't take on a leg of the trip though.

Re: WTB or WTT For a Running SBC Engine
Craig, I have a lead on a running driving IROC for $500. I don't have any details aside from it doesn't have a title. I do know the guy who is selling ,and it is in his front yard with a for sale sign, so I don't think the police or looking for it or anything.

Re: WTB or WTT For a Running SBC Engine
What is the first day that you can come up here and you and I walk around and take a good look at my parts pile and decide what we need to sell, keep, or throw away to get our goals met. I'll furnish the clipboard paper and blood to keep notes and sign whatever makes you happy. I will say this, there is nothing on this place that would cause me to lose a friendship over. Let me know.

Re: WTB or WTT For a Running SBC Engine
Works for me. Just throwing this out there, as early as you get out of work we could get things planned out in a afternoon. What ever works best for you is fine with me.

Re: WTB or WTT For a Running SBC Engine
Sounds like you're squared away for parts.
I got my 307 off ebay for $66. Runs great, I didn't even have to rebuild the carb. I search my parts by distance nearest my zip first, and only buy what I can pickup and pay for in person. Good luck on the engine swap and all else. |
