Re: Newbie with pics

SWEET!

Is the rack hooked to the stock front end? I am assuming you are using dropped spindles, correct? Any problems with bump steer?

Keep up the work!!

Re: Newbie with pics

Nice rides guys! Dealer1, what are your plans for the truck? What are you planning on running for an engine and how fast are you wanting to run?
Brian, what changes have you made to yours? I emailed you a few years ago about some info on fitting a bbc in one of these trucks. You sent me some pics of yours back then. I still haven't made the switch, as I've got a decent running 421 in it right now. But I would imagine that sooner or later I'll end up going with a big block. Thanks again for the pics and the info that you sent!!
Here are a few pics of my truck...

Re: Newbie with pics

Lilpup, I do run at Sikeston some. Those pics are actually from the Benton, Mo. track when it was still running. I've only been to Sikeston once this year, so far.
Brian, no, those shots are all motor passes. The truck has went 1.55 60's on the motor. I haven't sprayed the 421 yet, but when I ran the old 377s on spray, it would go 1.50s in the 60'.
Weren't you building a 496? Did you ever finish it? This is the route I'd like to go if and when I go to a big block. Later, Chris
