I just bought an 85 Silverado with a 305 in it and I need to know if there is a carb that is emmisions legal to pass the sniffer in Rockwall county, TX. Or do I need to get mine rebuilt or buy a reman. Thanks for any input.

Re: New Carb.
You should be able to pick up a replacement carb from Oreillys or Autozone for sure or try 'McSwains Auto' out in Rockwall. They seem to be a decent bunch (@ times anyway).

Re: New Carb.
If your current carb is original, get it rebuilt locally. It's already calibrated for your engine, and a replacement or remanufactured carb will not be.
