Got a few questions from a noob

- I want to have 2 bucket seats and a centerconsole, is there a special year/style of seats that work best? i do not want that bench seat with the console that flips down IMO its kinda ugly, and i just want to drive me and one other person

-I would like to drop a different motor in it, Right now its got a 327. Gas milage isnt really a big deal to me, cuz i will be getting a jeep for DD. Once this truck is done up nice it will be driven just like on the weekends and for special events and such. I was thinking of a 454, you know of where i can get one of these new? Do they make a 454 crate motor? If so how much and is there any type of warranty on it?

-My buddy was telling me about hacking of the pipes, and running staight from the headers and coming out like a 4" pipe out like right between the door and the back tire somewhere. Ive thought i would look cool, anyone done it before?

- I deffinatly would like to lower it, but put a airbag system in it so i can lower it when its parked and sometimes there is huge dips on the roads over here and i dont want to scrape.

-Im thinking the Satin Black paint job on this thing would look absolutely killer. Then maybe some like white and black leather enterior

-Im not sure exactly what rims i want, but im thinking about like 20" rims with some big fatty wide tires in the back. I really like the style of rims on the websites logo on the top. What rims where those taken from?

So ya sorry for the long post im just trying to get some inset on me rebuilding this truck. I have no clue to where to even start really. This will be my 1st truck building up. If you can, can u possibly post some ROUGH amounts on cost on some of the things like airbags, and bucket seats, or how much it cost u to get your truck painted. Cuz ive got no idea. im a BIG TIME nooby here

Re: Got a few questions from a noob

Welcome to the board, not sure if i can answer all the questions but i do know you can get a 454 crate eninge, not sure on the cost.and you can make about any buckets fit,i have a set out of a 2001 dodge with the center console which you could leave out.The newer style truck are popular swaps for these trucks. I would recomend some type of exhaust on it.I dont know anything about bags but would geuss around $2400 or so,i am sure someone else can answer this question.

Welcome to the board from a fellow Oregonian. Nice looking truck! Lot's of seat swaps and engine swaps are available for these trucks and if you do a search in the upper right hand corner, you'll be able to see what alot of us have done.
