Has anyone seen a 67-72 calander
Has anyone ever seen a calander for the 67-72 Chevy trucks? I am thinking about putting one together and use board members trucks. I am not sure if this is the right place, so sorry to mods if it is in the wrong spot. I am trying to see what kind of interest there would be for this. I have a buddy that has a photo and printshop that does alot of calanders that would put it together for me. These would be at no profit or if we decided to make a little on them it would go back to the forum.
Let me know if there is any interest, if we just do 67-72 Chevy's or include all years, and if we post a bunch and vote on which trucks will be there. Thanks |

Re: Has anyone seen a 67-72 calander
I think you can pick any pictures you want and bring them to Walmart or probably several other photo places and they'll make a calander for you. A lot of PC's have the software to print your own also. You could probably make one up in a standard format and then post a link here for anyone to download and print.

Re: Has anyone seen a 67-72 calander
I think it is a great idea, but execution is key.
As a professional designer, I'd have to say that the quality of the photos is probably what is going to hold you back. Most shots board members have of their trucks aren't setup for a quality looking calendar. In order to do it right, the photos need to be properly lit and composed. The quality of the printing is important, but if you don't have quality shots, it will still look amature.

That has been one of our concerns. We thought that if we had a vote then the ones voted in could make sure they have better pictures to send in. Any other suggestions would be great? |

This reminds me of the Old screen saver they had on here when I joined,
it was cool to, but the trucks weren't changable, a calender would be

Re: Has anyone seen a 67-72 calander
Ive got great software to do this, and a *****in color printer at the old ladies office to print them. Id have to figure out the materials cost, but Id do it for cost.
I can also do a super easy/cool one online with the same software/same calendar. Jason ________ OREGON DISPENSARY Last edited by Jayss109; 04-27-2011 at 11:40 PM. |

I'd be interested in a 67-72 calendar. If you start looking for beaters, I got a ex-farm truck lol.

Re: Has anyone seen a 67-72 calander
I'd love to see a board calender put together. I've wanted to do this for a couple of years now, but have never taken the time to do it. In addition to supporting the board, I think it would draw alot more attention to "truck of the month" if that's the way you selected your pics. You would have to have good quality pics, and permission to use them, but I think that the winners would comply. Let me know if I can help.
