Rim leak .
What can i use to seal my 15 x 3 Super Tricks , they have brand new Moroso tires , and the silicone seal looked to be in good condition , but they don't want to hold air , one is worse than the other , is there a product you can recomend ? I'm getting sick of having to air them up every couple of days .
Thanks ............................................. 409

Re: Rim leak .
you need to find where its leaking first// soapy water will show if the leak is valve stem, tire bead, tire, or in the rim itself// valve stem have it replaced, tire bead dismount clean and prep both surfaces and remount, tire repair/replace, rim replace because it might be unsafe and fail in the future at speed

Re: Rim leak .
I had a Weld Outback that was leaking.Dismounted tire and saw no flaw in the weld @ center with my naked eye.I cleaned w/brakeleen and spread a tri-polimer caulk (Geocel) thoroughly over the entire area all the way around the wheel. It held air until one day months later,it went completely flat in a short time, wouldn`t hold air when airing it back up(my truck has a compressor).Dismounted again, saw a crack 2/3 around entire center. The wheel was coming apart. If the wheel itself is the culprit, have it repaired by a wheel restorer, send back if under warranty,or toss it.
