Here's my '74 K/20

I finally got it running after 5 years of restoring it. It's stock except for the lift kit and tires. Just need mirrors for the doors and some small details to tie up and it'll be finished.

They are 36x12.50x16.60 Military tires. 6 inch susupension lift, no body. Thanks for the compliments guys, I really appreciate it.

I'll have more pictures up tomorrow.

Re: Here's my '74 K/20

I'm not sure what color blue it is, I know it's Emron (sp) though, it's actually a metallic blue with just a gloss white.
Factory tach dash, factory AM/FM stereo, dual tanks, factory A/C.

It's got a 350 and a 4 speed with a NP203 behind that, it's a full time four wheel drive thats why there are no lockouts in front. It's also got something I thought was kinda cool, a factory Hurst transfer case shifter. Here is a picture of it when we first bought it in 1999. It was an old farm truck but the original owner ordered it with all the heavy duty suspension and drivetrain but no comfort options.

Re: Here's my '74 K/20

thanks again guys. Yeah there was no way I was going to get rid of the four speed. It's still a pickup and it will haul and pull still, just have to be a little more careful, kinda like using a brand new truck.

Your truck turned out beautifully. I really like the color of blue, and the white really brings it out. Have fun with your brand new truck!

Re: Here's my '74 K/20

What everyone one else said but I espically like are the stock wheels & caps w/ the right size tire - keep it stock cause it looks awesome.
So what mirrors are you going to be putting on it?

Re: Here's my '74 K/20

I have a set of camper mirrors but would like to put a set of West Coast mirrors on it. I've seen a few lifted trucks with them for mirrors and I like the look.

I don't have any pictures of the mirrors on trucks like this but have seen them in person and like the way they make the truck look.
