What is it you do to the hood springs to keep the hood from rubbing....
..against the cowl when you open and close the hood?

Mine was cured by making a slight hinge adjustment, but it took 2 people

Luv is right your hood needs to be adjusted but it will take at least 2 people it is a pain in the but, at least it was on the Ford I helped a buddy with.
