What books should i get before i start?

I think i found a buyer for my 65 chevelle SS. So that means the day is coming for me to start my truck! Anyways i would like to do my homework so when i can start my truck i will and can do it. I don't need anything on paint and body. Maybe a book on my 70 c10 swb. Also maybe a book on how suspension works. I plan on bagging the truck. Not sure if i am going to notch the bed yet. Any books that you think i might need. Thanks ahead of time. Josh

Try going to the FAQ Submissions board, click on my Index thread and start reading the FAQ's.

I agree no need to buy books when you have the guys here. Can't talk to a book and get answers. There are so many talented people here.

yeah, and there's always some guy or few on this site that has done a butt load of work on any vehicle you choose (as long as it's a Bowtie, which is called restoration. If it's anything else, like a F**D, then it's not restoration, it's repairs. A lot of them.) and can tell you how he/she did whatever you need to know.
