My latest A/C Install Progress...

I am getting close to having this tied up.
I have just been bumbling along with it, working on it here and there.

To fill everyone in, I am installing an aftermarket underdash unit that can be seen here.

I bought it from a local Hot Rod supplier, it is their brand. I think it is similar to some other setups out there.

Anyhow - As of last night, I cut my dash for the vents. Here's my pics. Enjoy.

I will try and get some pics of my condensor, compressor mounted, and of course the unit, etc. Just give me some time. This has been an evening project after work and all while trying to give the wife some time too, soooo...

DLB

BTW - Those are the Billet Specialties vents. I thought they were nicer than most other options, and I REALLY like them in the truck.

I did have to trim that dash brace though so that they would sandwich themselves against the dash though. Argh.

Re: My latest A/C Install Progress...

Just thought I would throw this in there as well.

This is the current state of my trucks bay.

Notice the garage door opener on the ground in front of it, and not on the celing where it belongs. This is due to working on the truck, and not taking the time to put the opener on the door.

Then over on the left you will notice a rear sway bar. That's been there for a good 2 months at least.

The rest of the mess, has happened in this weeks time. The Dremel box hasn't been thrown awy yet because I still have to look at to see which tool is what. That thing saved me for this little deal. If you don't have one, get one.

I am going to go clean now.

Re: My latest A/C Install Progress...

The truck and AC install is looking good. Nice job.
I've been torn on how to do my accessorys. The stock stuff looked a little to boring to me and I wasn't really crazy about all the billet stuff on the market plus it's really $$$. After seeing your engine I really like the stock black brackets with the polished accessorys. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Hey Dalton, Are you going to the cruise-in in Dalton next Saturday? It should be a good one if the weather holds out.
