See if this jogs your memory..... It looks like 10 guage and it goes into the loom across the top of the cowl.

Re: Fire wall hole - what is it ?

Would that have been for the TSC transmission controled spark thing ? This truck was originally an I6 with 3 speed manual and it had that smog system that we removed like two years ago, only lets the vacumm advance operate in high gear, suppose that was the wiring for that ?

BTW - your sig says LockDoc - could you be a locksmith ? if so there is a thread over in general discussion that could really use your help !!!!

I will look at the wiring I removed and see if I can figure out where that wire went.

Yes, I am a locksmith specializing in antique autos and motorcycles. I will slide over there and see what's going on.

Re: Fire wall hole - what is it ?

Well I checked my wiring out and here is where the wire goes that comes through the rubber plug in your mystery hole.

Re: Fire wall hole - what is it ?

Yep - that is it, the TCS smog wiring, which we no longer have, I'll plug it or it might be a good spot for a tach wire. Thanks.
