Where can I purchase lowering parts for my 84?
Hello all, I am fairly new to the 73-87 game. I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a site to purchase suspension parts to lower my 84 C10. I plan to go 2.5 in the front with spindles and 4" in the rear with hangers and Shackles. Also any pointers on what to look for would be helpful.
Thanks in advance, Chris

Re: Where can I purchase lowering parts for my 84?
I used Bell Tech items for my truck. Bell Tech takes the front a little lower than 2 1/2", but I found that their kits work well on the older model trucks. I have done my Son's 86 Chevy and my 84 (in the avatar). I also added the front coils on my truck and it is now 3 1/2 inches lower than it originally was. I used their website to get the part numbers, then I looked around at different suppliers and found that Summit did the best for me.

I highly recommend Performance Suspension Components that Slonaker linked to above.
Just a piece of advice coming from somone who at first lowered the back of mine with shackles and hangers. Go with a 5" flip kit now and get it over with. You will end up doing it anyway sometime down the road. We all have.

iWILL SAY AMEN TO YOUR SUGGESTION. iSTARTED OUT WITH SHACKLES & HANGERS. & WASNT SATISFIED TILL I HAD THE REAR SPRINGS DEARKED TWICE. ENDED UP SPENDING A FORTUNE, WHEN I SHOULD HAVE DONE A FLIP KIT TO START WITH .
