Re: Axle Girdle fit?

So is it the same as a differential cover, or is there something special about it? I see a couple of fittings on it???

Re: Axle Girdle fit?

Yes it will. I have an LPW Ultimate 12 cover on mine and mine sits about 5" lower than stock. It clears the track bar with no trouble.

Re: Axle Girdle fit?

It is a heavy cast aluminum diff cover,Those fittings are bolts that go thru the cover and touch the main caps over the diff bearings. You tighten them down with a little preload and they keep the caps from flexing.A weak link in our diffs.

Re: Axle Girdle fit?

Lots of off roaders use them to help strenghthen the axle. They help prevent flex in the axle bearing area.
