guys please help i need to hav this headliner on by superchevy
hey how do i put a headliner without the chrome trim to the sealing? glue? what kind?

Glue..but I have no idea. I knoe for a fact rubber cement don't work.
Just don't use screws like the dompe smokin old man did. |

yeah i wont use screws, what do you think about liquid nail, hey do u hav a bigger picture of that "its called nitrous moron" that u could post or email for me??

I used a 3M product called "Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive". Sprayed the back of the headliner and the roof. Seems to work real well.

i used velcro. i had the whole cab upholstered and the guy was goin to use screws. i didnt like that idea. the material for the cab sheet metal was glued on but the headliner panel was padded and stitched with a pattern matching original design in roof, held in place with 2 in vecro.

I like the idea of using velcro ot hold it to the roof. I wanted to do one for my truck and din't want to use screws either. I have a new project!

I used rubber cement. 3M brand not the stuff for weather stripping but the one that comes in the quart cans. Apply to both surfaces then press it up...then remove (this step get rid of a lot of solvent and makes the rubber cement tackier) then press and hold. Takes 2 people.
