here she is ugly right now and in need of a lot of work but the end result will be worth it err i hope!!! this is my 400 dollar find by the way did i do bad or what, the bed is solid!!!!

yeah i got my chrome wiper cowl in today for it and some other parts so this weekend maybe i'll have some more pics of it i'm gonna document it as i go along just as a reminder of how much work is going into this

It's hard to tell by the pictures but the body looks to be in pretty good shape for sitting outside.

it needs a left front fender and right cab corner and some patching on the floorboards the rockers are solid as is the rest

thanks craig yeah i think the bed was worth a majority of the money the floor needs replaced but my parts came in today so all i need now is to get my grill and left front fender and the body will be in driver condition, still gotta get some sbc motor mounts and some other stuff to make it run, so i'm guessing its not gonna be at the cookout but i'll bring pictures with me of progress made!!!

putting in a 400 small block in it for now with th350, but i'm about to start building a 327 for it so 327 and th400 will be the final drivetrain

oh yes the 327 is gonna be built up fairly good shooting for around 400 hp without nitrous i'm thinkin it can be done but its gonna cost me

For my c10 350 i am pumping close to 340 as well u said maybe only 300

well i'll have it bored not sure how much it will need all forged parts and probably some nice dart heads a decent sized bumpstick edelbrock victor jr intake and a holley dbl pumper to suck the gas thats really all that comes to mind as of now

I think you are better off building up that 400 to a 406 and have a better motor.

yeah i was just trying to keep it "era correct" with the 327 the 400 is a running engine its gonna be a 406 someday probably use it for another project

thats not a bad lookin rig either, i'm debatin on whether to keep this a stepside or go with a fleetside i have a bed found for 200 bucks

You got a great truck for 400.00. Especially (SP) if it was drivable. Sound like you have some great plans for the truck. I am on my 4th driven truck and 5th parts truck and would not give it up for anything. I have sold most but my 72 K5 is what my wife is going to put me in the dirt with.

well notice it doesn't have a cowl on it mario but it will soon but no its not a driver by far lol
