1976 k-10 stepside lock out's

hi all,,,try to make a long story short since i am just learning 203 t-c,,been converted ,went to replace brakes all around,,,driver side front all allen head screws in lock out were loose, tightened all up,,the whole lock out asembley still acted like screw's are not tight..can move it around,,,put it in lock position, can move d-shaft to that wheel by hand at least a 1/4 turn before moving wheel...tried to take apart, but naturally one allen head bolt is screwed...the lockout's are called "superwinch" ...which i figured out come from sumitt...anyhow,,could someone explain what's gonna happen (fly apart, fall down,,,screw up my life,,lolol)when i drill the last allen head out?????? thank's all for ANY help..

For starters, I'd put in a couple of the other screws, so that when you drill that one out, you don't have any issues with things moving. But not much should happen, it might be spring loaded and want to come out.
