Removing the ignition switch assembly from a 71?
Well, the cab is completely stripped down, except for the ignition switch assembly. It'll turn to the left, as in inscrewing it, but after a couple of full turns, it stops? Does anyone know how to get this thing out of the dash? If not, I'm gonna try to sawzall it out

You have to remove the switch tumbler before the bezel will come off. Turn the switch to acc. There's a small hole in the tumbler face. Push in to release with a paper clip, 1/16" pin punch, drill bit, etc. Then you can turn the key to the left and the tumbler comes out.
