Summer II Progress

Hi guys
Heres my truck as you all last saw it at the end of last summer and one shot of the bed I had already shown.

This summer I worked on it as much as I could before I had to go back to school a couple weeks ago. Got a decent amount done, still maybe trying to have it at the Goodguys show at TMS. Got a call from my bodyshop today saying it was painted , so I may run up there today to check it out. Heres how it was before I putted it up to the body shop.

Got a new seat upholstered, only took a shade under a year for that, new upholstered door panels on the way, already have new Torq Thrust 17s, Nittos on the way, and new chrome to put on.

Re: Summer II Progress

I ran up to the body shop today with my rear glass and rubber seals. I can go pick it up friday with the hood put on it and then its off to get exhaust put on. Cant wait. Paint looks pretty dark in these shots but when its out in the sun it really brightens up.

Re: Summer II Progress

Thanks guys.

The fuel filler door is off of an 88 chevy fleetside truck. On the inside of the bed I just got some sheetmetal bent and then I trimmed it to line up with the inside of the bed.

Thanks. It looks nice. Is that to feed a Blazer tank?
The reason I ask is that I have a Blazer tank and am running out of things to do to my truck before I put that in and take out the seat tank.

I want to get two of the same doors. One for the Blazer tank and one to replace the dealer installed aluminum door outside of the auxiliary tank.

Yeah, Ive got a plastic blazer tank under the bed. Was a real pain to get it all to fit right with the filler hose and all.
