Pritchard,
The '62 polished grille was aluminum. And is that Elk Grove, IL? Welcome! Brian |

Re: 1962 Truck Grill Question
The only grilles that were steel in '62 was the painted ones, the aluminum ones were polished & sealed in a clear coat.

Re: 1962 Truck Grill Question
Have been searching high and low for a aluminum 62 grill and just received mine yesterday complete with T3 headlights from Hemmit (Thanks Hemmit!!) I am hopefully going to get it polished up and installed this week will post pic's when installed. Now to just find a good OEM set of 62' custom cab badges.

Re: 1962 Truck Grill Question
Hemmit,
installed it last night, I am going to send it off for complete reconditioning to: http://www.anobrite.com/home.html I installed it for now to enjoy, and will send it off to them when I get the funds together. I will snap some pic's this weekend and post them. Thanks for keeping an eye out for those cab badges. Derek
