I got my 14-boltFF, now what's a good price for a D60 front?
Hey y'all,
I pulled my "new" 14-bolt out from under a '79 3/4-ton truck last weekend with the help of a buddy. It's tight and has the open diff. so it's ready for a Detroit. It was only $75 too! Now I need to find my Dana 60 front. I know a guy that has one and he might sell it to me. What's a good price to pay for a D60? Thanks y'all. Sincerely, Chris

$100 is a good price, but your probably not going to find one! Figure on spending $650-$750 for a front 60 or about $1500 from somebody like Boyce that sells Gov't units rebuilt. I've got a 14 bolt Detroit that I'll sell for $200 plus shipping. Either the unit or the complete setup in the GM carrier. Shoot me an email if interested.
